The Ministry is responsible for coordinating Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' relations with foreign governments, as well as regional and international organizations. It seeks to create opportunities for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the field of foreign trade through the negotiation and monitoring of the relevant agreements and treaties.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Represented at the Eight CARICOM- Japan Meeting in Japan
The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will be represented at the CARICOM-Japan Ministerial Meeting, currently underway in Tokyo, Japan. Representing the state at this forum are the Honourable Frederick Stephenson, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Consumer Affairs, and Minister Counsellor Elroy Wilson, who is based at the Embassy of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the Republic of China (Taiwan).

The Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves led a high-level delegation to the prestigious Doha Forum in Qatar, an international platform for dialogue on critical global issues, innovation, and partnerships for sustainable development.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Consumer Affairs was pleased to host a courtesy call with an Indonesian delegation led by Mr. Andre Omer Siregar, accompanied by Mrs. Alifya Tyasa and Mrs. Puji Sulastri, during their official visit to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on December 9th, 2024.
