On 8th March 2022, at the Fifth Meeting of the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development, Senator The Honourable Keisal M. Peters; Minister of State with responsibility for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade participated in a panel discussion on the topic: "Natural Disasters and the asymmetry of climate change in the Caribbean".
The Republic of China (Taiwan) recently provided support to the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines by offering opportunity for entrepreneurial training and grant assistance to Vincentian women in business through the Women's Empowerment Project which is being collaborated between the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Centre for Enterprise Development.
One of the mandates of the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines foreign policy is to establish diplomatic relations with yet more countries around the world to better protect the nation’s interests particularly in migration (visa waivers), investment, trade, development assistance, cultural and sporting links.
