The following items are restricted from countries outside of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). They may only be imported if a licence is obtained from the Minister with responsibility for Consumer Affairs and Internal Trade.
- Live poultry, that is to say fowls of the species gallus domesticus, ducks, geese, turkeys and guinea fowls
- Meat and edible offals (except liver) that is to say fowl, ducks geese, turkey and guinea fowls fresh, chilled or frozen.
- Fish frozen
- Salmon trout and other fish except codfish, mackerel, herring, hake, saithe, haddock and Pollock dried salted or in brine.
- Milk and cream not concentrated nor containing added sugar or other sweetening matter
- Natural honey
- Parts of trees and other plants suitable for use as Christmas trees
- Tomatoes
- Onions
- Cabbage
- Sweetpepper
- Ochroes (Okra)
- Pumpkin
- Other vegetables
- Dried vegetables, whole cut, sliced, broken or in powder, but not further prepared
