The Honourable Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble has represented the constituency of East Kingstown in Parliament since 2020. On December 2, 2025, he was sworn in as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment, and Diaspora Affairs assuming responsibility for advancing Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ engagement on the international stage.
Minister Bramble brings to this portfolio a strong academic foundation and extensive professional experience in both Economics and International Relations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Economics from Old Dominion University. His professional tenure at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development further strengthened his expertise in economic policy and national development. He has also served as an Economics Lecturer and as an Economic Development Coordinator, contributing to both academic instruction and practical development initiatives.
In the sphere of International Affairs, Minister Bramble served as Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in Washington, D.C., Deputy Permanent Representative to the OAS, and Country Director at the Organization of American States (OAS) in Suriname. These roles reflect his sustained engagement in multilateral diplomacy and regional cooperation.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Minister Bramble has long demonstrated a commitment to national representation. In his youth, he distinguished himself as an award recipient in the CARICOM Secondary Schools’ Quiz Competition and as a goalkeeper for the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines national football team.
His breadth of experience in economics and diplomacy positions him to guide the Ministry with prudence and strategic focus. In particular, his background supports the continued advancement of Economic Diplomacy as a central pillar of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ foreign policy.
