  • Establishment of the Monitoring, Information and Research (MIR) Unit;

  • Finalise removal of administrative and legal restrictions and enactment of appropriate legislation for the implementation of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME);

  • Establish and operationalise an OECS National Focal Point Network;

  • Conduct public sensitisation programme on the CSME;

  • Submit notifications and amend the requisite legislations in compliance with international obligations;

  • Continue strengthening overseas representation;

  • Implement a Strategic Foreign Policy Plan;

  • Establish a Foreign Policy and Inter-ministerial Committee;

  • Implement the Foreign Service Orders;

  • Renew efforts to improve the corporate image of the Ministry; and

  • Introduce Modern Language Training Programmes for Public Officers.
