The Ministry is responsible for coordinating Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' relations with foreign governments, as well as regional and international organizations. It seeks to create opportunities for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the field of foreign trade through the negotiation and monitoring of the relevant agreements and treaties.
The Honourable Frederick Stephenson, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has assumed the Chairmanship of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Council of Ministers: Foreign Affairs.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, together with Barbados, Belize, and Dominica, are among the four Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Member States that will begin implementing the full free movement regime on October 1st, 2025.
