On Wednesday, 11th March and Thursday, 12th March, 2026, the Diaspora Affairs Department hosted its fourth annual Garifuna Heritage Rite of Passage and Pilgrimage, welcoming over 150 Garifuna visitors at the Argyle International Airport. The event coincided with National Heroes’ Month, culminating in National Heroes’ Day observances.
