The Ministry is responsible for coordinating Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' relations with foreign governments, as well as regional and international organizations. It seeks to create opportunities for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the field of foreign trade through the negotiation and monitoring of the relevant agreements and treaties.

Donation of School Buses from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia
The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is the recipient of two (2) school buses (One Toyota Coaster Bus and One Toyota Hiace Commuter) which were donated from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to Support Student Mobility across the length and breadth of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Secondary Schools' Teachers Attachment Programme in the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME)
Two secondary school teachers were selected to participate in a Teacher Attachment Programme facilitated by the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat.
