Deportation is defined as the removal from a country of an alien whose presence is unlawful or prejudicial.

Deportation occurs for a number of reasons. Most common among them are:

The person is considered an undesirable person.
The person has breached the countries immigration laws.
The person is considered destitute or considered a prohibited immigrant.
