The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce wishes to inform the general public that the Consular Section of the Embassy of the United States of America located in Bridgetown, Barbados resumed its routine B1/B2 tourist and business visa services on Monday, November 16, 2020, with the next available in-person interview commencing from December 1, 2020.
Mrs. Safiya Horne-Bique, a Vincentian National, assumed her duties as Director of Trade and Sustainable Development at the Secretariat of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), on Monday November 2, 2020.
On November 1st, 2020, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), will assume the presidency of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), for one month, ending November 30th, 2020. This is SVG’s first and only presidency during the country’s stint on the council, and forms part of its responsibility as a non-permanent member.
