The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines accredited H.E. Joaquim do Espírito Santo, Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola with residency in Washington D.C., United States of America. On Wednesday March 30, 2022 at a ceremony held at Government House, H.E. Dame Susan Dougan, GCMG, OBE, Governor General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines officially accepted Letters of Credence from Ambassador Espírito Santo.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade commenced its annual School Visit Programme yesterday, March 28, 2022. The School Visit Programme for this year will be kept in-house at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade’s Conference Room from 28th March to 1st April, 2022. Both morning and afternoon sessions are held to accommodate over 380 students throughout the week.
On 8th March, 2022, day 2 of the 'Fifth Meeting of the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development', Minister of State with Responsibility for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Hon. Keisal Peters participated in a panel discussion with colleagues on the topic: "Natural Disasters and the asymmetry of climate change in the Caribbean".
