Taipei City is pleased to announce the launch of the fully funded Taipei City Chinese Language Scholarship, aimed at fostering cultural exchange and enhancing linguistic proficiency in Chinese among international students.

The Taipei City Chinese Language Scholarship offers an unparalleled opportunity for individuals passionate about mastering the Chinese language and immersing themselves in the rich heritage of Taiwanese culture. This initiative reflects Taiwan’s commitment to promoting cross-cultural understanding and building bridges between communities worldwide.

The Taipei City Chinese Language Scholarship spans for the duration of six (6) months, from September 2024 to February 2025, with a monthly stipend of NT $25,000 (US $820) and the conditions of the scholarship are similar to those of the first year of the MOFA scholarships. The scholarship does not entail the payment of an airfare to and from the Republic of China (Taiwan).

Applications for the Taipei City Chinese Language Scholarship are now open to Vincentian nationals. Interested individuals are asked to contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade (Bilateral Unit) at (784) 456-2067/ 456-2060 or the Service Commissions Department at (784) 456-1690, for additional information on the application process and application forms. The deadline for applications is May 17th, 2024.
