The Honourable Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs, on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, received a courtesy call from Her Excellency Linda Te Puni, High Commissioner of New Zealand to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, at the Ministry's headquarters.

Minister Bramble was accompanied by Mrs. Sandy Peters-Phillips, Permanent Secretary, and Mrs. Charmin Tapin-John, Director of Foreign Policy. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for constructive discussions on a range of issues of mutual interest.

During the meeting, Her Excellency Te Puni briefed Minister Bramble on development projects being implemented across the region with funding from the Government of New Zealand. She also highlighted New Zealand's support for renewable energy initiatives in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Minister Bramble expressed his sincere appreciation to the government and people of New Zealand for their continued support to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as to the wider Caribbean region. He acknowledged New Zealand's longstanding partnership with the Caribbean through its cooperation agreements with both the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs reaffirms its commitment to further strengthening the longstanding and cordial bilateral relationship between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and New Zealand and looks forward to continued collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
