On Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, His Excellency Pertti Ikonen, Ambassador of Finland to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs, at the Ministry’s headquarters.
The meeting provided a platform to discuss areas of mutual interest and explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration between the two nations. Discussions reaffirmed the shared commitment to achieve common goals, with particular emphasis on cooperation in the area of maritime security.
The Republic of Finland and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines established diplomatic relations on September 11th, 2007. This visit underscores the importance of diplomacy, mutual respect, and cooperation in addressing challenges.
