Her Excellency Angella Jackson, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the Republic of Cuba, presented her letter of credence to the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel on Thursday, 14th May, 2026 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Havana, Cuba.

Her Excellency Jackson also presented a copy of her letter of credence to Cuba’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Josefina Vidal Ferreiro on Tuesday, 12th May, 2026. Ambassador Jackson was publicly announced as Permanent Representative on 22nd January, 2026, alongside other newly appointed Heads of Mission and Consulate.

During the visit, President Díaz-Canel extends congratulations to the Honourable Dr. Godwin Friday, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on his election to office. He also expressed his appreciation for the continued support from the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs congratulates Her Excellency Jackson on this important milestone and looks forward to her continued leadership in promoting the interests, foreign policy objectives, and development priorities of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on the international stage.
