The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs, Honourable Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble, attended the Twenty Ninth Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR), held in Paramaribo, Suriname from 20-21 May, 2026.

On the margins of the meeting, Minister Bramble held discussions with Japan’s Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ariya Eri. The exchange focused on continued bilateral cooperation between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Japan, while also exploring opportunities to further deepen engagement between Japan and the wider CARICOM region.

Minister Bramble’s participation in the Council for Foreign and Community Relations meeting underscores Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ ongoing commitment to regional cooperation and constructive international engagement in support of sustainable development and shared prosperity.
