The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs has resumed its school visit programme on Monday, 4th May, 2026, at the Ministry’s Conference Room.
In week one, a total of 103 students participated including 24 from Bishop’s College Kingstown, 15 from West St. George Secondary School, 23 from Troumaca Ontario Secondary School, 23 from Dr. JP Eustace Memorial Secondary School, and 18 from Bethel High School. The session highlighted the Ministry’s role in national development, with particular focus on the work of the Foreign Policy Department in advancing the country’s interests at the regional and international levels.



The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs; The Honourable Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble and the Director of Foreign Policy; Mrs Charmin Tappin-John welcomed the students and provided inspirational remarks, while representatives from the bilateral, multilateral, and protocol divisions delivered presentations and engaged students in discussion.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs continues to promote diplomacy and youth engagement through initiatives that raise awareness and encourage future participation in international affairs.
