The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Consumer Affairs is honoured to announce the recipients of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship for the 2025 academic year.
These exemplary Vincentians have been selected to undertake postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom through the esteemed UK Government Chevening Scholarship Programme.
The 2025 Chevening Scholars are:
- Ms. Reenah Samuel, Trade Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Consumer Affairs, who will pursue a Master of Science degree in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Management at the University of Nottingham.
- Ms. Joshika Hall, Teacher at Bishop’s College Kingstown, who will pursue a Master of Science degree in Medical Microbiology at the University of Manchester.
- Ms. Tevisha James, Standards Inspector at the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Bureau of Standards, who will pursue a Master of Science degree in Food Safety, Hygiene and Management at the University of Birmingham.
- Ms. Pallavi Browne, United Nations and Commonwealth Desk Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Consumer Affairs, who will pursue a Master of Science degree in International Security at the University of East Anglia.
The Ministry extends its heartfelt congratulations to the awardees and commends their unwavering commitment to academic and professional excellence. Their selection underscores the enduring strength of the bilateral relationship between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the United Kingdom, as well as the significant opportunities afforded through such partnerships.
The Ministry is confident that upon completion of their studies, these scholars will make meaningful contributions to national development and the continued advancement of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
