On Wednesday, 3rd November, 2021, H.E. Mr. Jürg Sprecher presented Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Dame Susan Dougan, GCMG, OBE, Governor General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as the newly accredited non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Ambassador Sprecher holds a doctorate in political Science from the University of Basel, Switzerland. Prior to his current post, His Excellency held the posts of Deputy Head of Mission in Madrid, and Head of the Swiss Embassy in Caracas, Venezuela. Ambassador Sprecher is multilingual in speaking English, German, French and Spanish.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and by extension the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines take this opportunity to welcome the newly appointed Ambassador and renew the Government’s commitment in working together to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between both countries.
