From Friday, September 18th to Sunday, September 27th, 2026, the Honourable Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs, will accompany the Honourable Dr. Godwin Friday, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, to New York for the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week (UNGA 81).

During UNGA 81, the Foreign Minister will participate in a number of high-level ministerial engagements, including the 10th Meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs (COMFA), the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR), the CARICOM-Nordic Ministerial Meeting, the CELAC-European Union Foreign Ministers Meeting, and the L.69/C.10 Ministerial Breakfast, among other meetings and consultations.

Participation in these engagements is important to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as they provide opportunities to advance the country’s foreign policy priorities, strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations, and advocate for issues of national and regional importance.

On the margins of UNGA 81, the Foreign Minister will also accompany the Prime Minister at the Invest SVG’s Diaspora Outreach and Investment Conference on Saturday, September 19th, and the Town Hall Meeting on Sunday, September 20th. This forms part of the government’s efforts to promote investment opportunities and strengthen the relationship between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and its nationals abroad.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs will continue to provide updates on the participation of the Foreign Minister in the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly and related engagements in New York.
