Welcome to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. The Ministry is responsible for coordinating Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' relations with foreign governments, as well as regional and international organizations. It seeks to create opportunities for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the field of foreign trade through the negotiation and monitoring of the relevant agreements and treaties.
On Thursday, 26th July, 2018, the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) elected, by acclamation, H.E. I. Rhonda King, Permanent Representative of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the United Nations, as its new President at its 2019 opening session. Ambassador King is the fourth female, the first woman from the Latin American and Caribbean region and the first woman from the Global South to serve as the President of ECOSOC.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce, has been working in conjunction with the High Commission of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in London, to explore possibilities for the recruitment of Vincentians in the Royal Navy.
The Saint Lucia Trade Export Promotion Agency (TEPA) and The Saint Lucia Coalition of Service Industries (SLCSI) in collaboration with Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA) are inviting interested young animators to participate in a 5 days boot camp from August 6th to 10th, 2018, at the National Skills Development Centre, ICT Centre from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m in Saint Lucia.
