H.E. Linda S. Taglialatela, Ambassador of the United States of America to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, and the OECS is on a three-day (6th – 8th July) working visit in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Ambassador’s delegation includes Mr. Clinton White, USAID Regional Representative for the Eastern and Southern Caribbean and Mr. Emmet Tuohy, Political-Economic Officer (Saint Lucia/Saint Vincent & the Grenadines), U.S. Embassy, Barbados.

Earlier today, the Ambassador and her delegation held bilateral discussion with Prime Minister, Dr. The Hon. Ralph E. Gonsalves and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Mrs. Sandy Peters-Phillips. During the bilateral meeting, the parties held discussion on ongoing projects in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines being supported through USAID, and the prospects for future projects as well as other thematic issues.

The Ambassador will meet with other government officials and will hand over COVID-19 vaccines to the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment at a handing over ceremony slated for tomorrow (Friday 8th July, 2022) at the Argyle International Airport.
