Welcome to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. The Ministry is responsible for coordinating Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' relations with foreign governments, as well as regional and international organizations. It seeks to create opportunities for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the field of foreign trade through the negotiation and monitoring of the relevant agreements and treaties.

  • Visit schools and community groups to educate students and the public about CARICOM matters.
  • Provide brochures, posters, etc. on CARICOM.
  • Provide the general public with relevant information on the CSME.

 

To facilitate the smooth integration of the economy of St. Vincent and the Grenadines into CARICOM Single Market and Economy.

Objectives

  1. To take steps to remove the barriers that currently exist on the establishment of  business, for example, relocation of businesses and their staff members;

  2. To facilitate the free movement of CARICOM nationals regarding work permits, etc;

  3. To educate the general public on the opportunities that exists in other CARICOM  countries, their benefits and rights available under the Revised Treaty of  Chaguaramas.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade is located on the 3rd Floor of the Administrative Centre on Bay Street.
