Hon. Keisal M. Peters

Biography

Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. The Ministry is responsible for coordinating Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' relations with foreign governments, as well as regional and international organizations. It seeks to create opportunities for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the field of foreign trade through the negotiation and monitoring of the relevant agreements and treaties.

Vincentian Nationals from time to time would have to be repatriated to Saint Vincent. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is informed via diplomatic note.

Persons returning to Saint Vincent after serving time in prison overseas will be issued with the necessary travel documents from the sending countries.  If Saint Vincent has a consulate in the said country, travel arrangements and documentation is done there.

In the case of Vincentian Nationals being repatriated after events like shipwreck and disaster all the necessary documents are sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and copied to the office of the Prime Minister which bears the financial cost to have the nationals repatriated back to Saint Vincent. Private families can also bear the cost to have families repatriated.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade is located on the 3rd Floor of the Administrative Centre on Bay Street.
