Welcome to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. The Ministry is responsible for coordinating Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' relations with foreign governments, as well as regional and international organizations. It seeks to create opportunities for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the field of foreign trade through the negotiation and monitoring of the relevant agreements and treaties.

The Protocol and Consular Unit ensures that all diplomatic representatives receive proper treatment and are accorded, under domestic regulations and practice, immunities and privileges to which they are entitled.  This includes an unimpeded performance of their functions and those of their missions, in the interest of successful development of international relations.

St Vincent and the Grenadines is a member of:

  • Organisation of Caribbean States (OECS) - 18th June, 1981
  • Association of Caribbean States (ACS) - 24th July, 1994
  • Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America (ALBA) - 24th June, 2009
  • Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) - 3rd December, 2011
