It seeks to create opportunities for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the field of foreign trade through the negotiation and monitoring of the relevant agreements and treaties.
The Federative Republic of Brazil celebrated its 195th anniversary of independence on September 7th, 2017. To mark this special occasion, the Brazilian Embassy in Saint. Vincent and the Grenadines hosted a 'Vin d'Honneur' at the Ambassador’s residence at Ratho Mill.
On Monday 13th and Wednesday 15th February 2017, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines strengthened its relationship with several long-standing allies, when eight Ambassadors presented their Credentials to Governor General Sir Frederick Ballantyne.
A major milestone for the global trading system was reached on 22nd February 2017, when the first multilateral deal concluded in the 21 year history of the World Trade Organization (WTO), entered into force.
