The United Nations General Assembly was convened on Tuesday 17th September, 2013 at 3:00pm. The new President of the Assembly, His Excellency John Ashe, a national of Antigua and Barbuda highlighted the theme for this year’s Assembly: Post 2015 Development Agenda: Setting the Stage.

The General Debate of the Assembly will commence on Tuesday 24th September to 1st October, 2013.
