Welcome to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. The Ministry is responsible for coordinating Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' relations with foreign governments, as well as regional and international organizations. It seeks to create opportunities for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the field of foreign trade through the negotiation and monitoring of the relevant agreements and treaties.

The Government of Korea through the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) is offering a scholarship to one (1) graduate student from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to participate in the Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP). The scholarship is only being offered to a Vincentian national.

Interested persons are kindly required to complete an application form. The successful candidate will commence a three (3) year course of study for a Masters Degree or a four (4) year course of study for a PhD with one (1) year being allocated for Korean language study.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Commerce and Information Technology is pleased to inform on behalf of the Embassy of Brazil in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, that the Organisation of American States (OAS) has announced the fifth edition of the programme Alliance for Education and Empowerment for 2016.

The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Coimbra Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB), with the support of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Division of Educational Topics and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO / WHO) join forces again in this 5th edition of the Partnerships Program for Education and Training (PAEC) OAS-GCUB Scholarships.  This programme will grant over 700 academic scholarships in 2016 for Graduates and Post- Graduate Studies for OAS Member States citizens in one of the 46 Brazilian Universities part of the programme. Classes will start in the first semester of 2016 and the expiration date for inscription to the programme is July 15th, 2015.

Scholarships granted by the OAS-GCUB will cover registration fees, a monthly stipend for maintenance expenses, language support for Portuguese in the selected universities and a one-time advance for installation expenses (exclusive for the first 100 ranked students).
